Omayamyam (oim  a  yam yam) is a nod to the British background of my partner in life, Dave. He hails from the midlands of England where people are fondly referred to as yam yam's.

Why choose Omayamyam for your Human Resources needs?

I have the right combination of work experience and education to help you and your company move forward.

In 2011, I received my Canadian Human Resources Professional designation, (CHRP). The CHRP designation has recently been updated and is now know as CPHR, Certified Professional in Human Resources. I work hard to maintain my designation by keeping on top of the trends in human resources, meeting with colleagues to discuss issues common to all work and attend training opportunities.

In 2006, I completed my Master of Education degree in Adult Education and a decade prior in 1996 graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Home Economics.

I can often be found at Grande Prairie Regional College teaching in the Continuing Education department. It provides me with an opportunity to meet people from a variety of organizations in the Grande Prairie area and talk about human resources issues that local businesses are concerned about. I am also available to instruct courses tailored to the needs of your organization.

My work in Human Resources spans from publicy traded organizations, privately owned-National and International corporations, First Nations, not-for-profit and "Mom and Pop' style companies. Some of my most enjoyable work has been with First Nations and Inuit organizations including Kitnuna and Nunavut Fisheries Training Consortium.
